In April 1953, a few long months before the armistice in Korea, Harvey began his year of service in Korea with Tank Company, 223d Infantry Regiment. Like many GIs before his time and after, he kept a few unique items to remember his service. Among the many photographs and ephemera is an incredible blouse taken from a captured Lieutenant Colonel of Artillery in the Chinese People's Liberation Army. After examination, the letter's P.O.W. appear to have been drawn on the back, perhaps with a grease pencil. Maybe finding some after action reports will indicate who this officer was.
